Youth for Christ combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help students make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools and communities. With all of our programs we seek to engage young people wherever they are found in the community: the local schools, community centers such as the YMCA, the Juvenile Detention Center, offering a place where students can learn significant and defining truths about life. Our mission in Kenosha is to bring hope to students, to see the potential in each one of them, to build significant relationships, and to demonstrate the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. As part of the body of Christ, our vision is to see every young person have the opportunity to make an informed decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ and become a part of a local church. Osmar Aguilar is the Youth for Christ Associate Director for Southeastern Wisconsin. Osmar joined the YFC staff in the spring of 2002, and has been focused on the developing ministry in Kenosha County. Currently Osmar ministers in the areas of Campus Life on school campuses, the Youth Guidance Program for at risk teens and incarcerated students in the Juvenile Detention Center, Higher Goal Sports Program and as a Project Serve missions trip coordinator. |
